What is the Habitat ReStore?
Here's how it works: Habitat for Humanity accepts donations of new and saleable, used building materials such as cabinets, lighting and plumbing fixtures, doors, lumber, flooring, and windows. Some materials will be used to build Habitat houses. The rest will be sold to the public at 50-75% off the retail price. There are also Restores in Saginaw and MidlandCounties.
Bay County Habitat for Humanity ReStore is located at the corner of Center and Pine in Essexville. We are partnering with Do-All Inc. who also operates the Cat's Meow Thrift Store at the same location.
What is the Habitat ReStore?

The Habitat ReStore is located behind the McDonalds Restaurant at the corner of Center and Pine in Essexville.
The Habitat ReStore:
- Makes home improvements more affordable.
- Helps Habitat build more homes.
- Prevents useable building materials from going to a landfill.
